Orang Indonesia memang harus ekstra sabar dalam menjelajah internet.
Dalam daftar yang dikeluarkan oleh raksasa internet Google, Indonesia
ternyata termasuk dalam daftar negara dengan koneksi internet paling
lambat.
Rata-rata halaman internet terbuka di desktop
membutuhkan waktu 20,3 detik, menurut Bloomberg yang mengutip laporan
Google tersebut.
Republik Slowakia ternyata memiliki rata-rata halaman internet terbuka tercepat dengan 3,3 detik.
Korea
Selatan adalah negara kedua yang internetnya tercepat di desktop,
selain itu mereka juga punya koneksi internet tercepat menggunakan
ponsel dengan rata-rat 4,8 detik. Dari segi koneksi internet via ponsel,
UEA adalah yang terlambat, dengan 26,7 detik untuk membuka satu halaman
internet.

Menurut
Bloomberg, Google mengukur kecepatan internet di desktop dan ponsel di
50 negara awal bulan ini. Laporan itu juga menyatakan bahwa Amerika
Serikat ada di tengah-tengah. "Di desktop, butuh rata-rata 5,7 detik,
sementara di ponsel butuh 9,2 detik yang buat orang AS terasa sudah
sangat lama."
